Toxicity & Cautions: 毒素與禁忌﹕	Do not use in cases of shenyinxu (kidney yin deficient)  According to Ben Cao Jing Ji Zhu, use with yi yi ren. Incompatible with sunflower roots, da huang, chai hu,  mo li, qian hu. According to Ben Cao Jing Shu, do no use if the lower part of the body does not have yeast infection, dripping after urination, pain in the penis due to yinxu (yin deficient) or back pain due to shenxu (kidney deficient) . According to Ben Cao Bei Yao, it is not compatible with tea or vinigar. According to Ben Jing Feng Yuan, in cases of  yinxu (yin deficient)  with spermatorrhea, or premature ejaculation due to weakness, frequent urination, urgent feeling the need of defecation, using bi xie may cause sickness to become worse. 腎陰虛者忌服。 ①《本草經集注》：薏苡仁為之使。 畏葵根，大黃  ，柴 胡，牡蠣，前 胡。 ②《本草經疏》：下部無濕，陰虛火熾，以致溺有餘瀝，莖中痛，及腎虛腰痛，並不宜服。 ③《本草備要》：忌茶葉，醋。 ④《本經逢原》：陰虛精滑及元氣下陷不能攝精，小便頻數，大便引急者，誤用病必轉劇。
